watercolor, colored pencil and ink
A little robot family for this week inspired by my little Super-E. He loves robots. We even had a robot themed birthday party for his 4th birthday last year. It was a blast! He is the one that decided what I should draw for this week. So, we have a daddy robot, a mommy robot, a boy robot and a baby robot. Hmmm. Who could this robot family be representing? Now he wants me to do a super-hero family!
Please check out my Notecard Swap. Sign up! It’ll be lots of fun! (A great way to share some artsy craftiness with some of my blogging buddies- you know who you are!!)
I’ve always wondered this, when it’s time for haircuts do they go to a welder or do they just use a wire cutter ?
Cute illo and neat background !

They are so cute and bright and happy, your little robot family!
This is adorable! My son just turned 4 this past January. His obsession is Thomas the Tank Engine!
They do look cute and happy! A modern day Jetson family! You pulled it out girl! (That’s a Randy statement…from Idol)
beautiful and adorable. I love the family and the wacky background. great job!
This is darling!!! I love that your son chose this idea, it is perfect for the theme! Your colours and patterns are lovely and I like how everybody is happy!!!
This is so fun, love the backround, great idea
What a cute robot family, Regina. You put such care into carefully rendering the details.
Your robo characters are really wonderful…they have such a great humanoid presence. I love the use of various shapes and lines to create the surroundings. Og course, there’s always that burning question…Mommy, where do baby robots come from? Good one:>
I don’t think I’ve seen a robot family yet – fun stuff!
Looks like a fun robotic nuclear family! 🙂
