We will be moving soon and I wanted to share a very large jungle painting I did for my kid’s room before we leave and the walls get covered with new paint by the new owners (sniff, sniff). I painted it 3 years ago and it took me about 3 months of sketching with pencil, outlining with marker and then finally painting with acrylic craft paint. It will be the one room I will truly be sad to leave.

These murals are very impressive - its a pity that they would be painted over.

Oh wow! This is truly a labor of love! It’s absolutely beautiful….your children must have made friends and traveled to many magical places with each of these gorgeous animals. It’s a shame the new owners don’t have small children to pick up where your kids leave off. Good luck with your move:>

That is truly a labor of love. I can’t believe the detail, and the number of different animals. I had to paint over an unfinished mural in our downstairs hall, BEFORE, we moved. Realtor suggested it, kindly, she was only doing her job, but I know how you feel.
Though, I bet they will think twice, or more, before painting over this room! Thanks for sharing this. Make sure you take lots more pics, for your kids, to remember, revisit.

Oh, that is sad….you were smart to take photos so your son will always have those memories. The mural itself is INCREDIBLE! Best of luck in your new home!
