I made this wreath a couple of weeks ago. It’s really quick and easy to make. Using some old tulle-like fabric and an old wire hanger, I simply cut (half hazardly) 1-2 inch strips of fabric- about 10 inches long. Lots of them. I shaped the hanger into a circle leaving the hook on top for hanging. Then I tied all the strips around until it looked nice and fluffy. Added some glittery apples and a ribbon and there you have it. Really easy to do- even my little guy helped out.

You could use any kind of fabric to make this. Even lace, or ribbon would work. To make this wreath more of a recycling project, you could use any kind of plastic-ky material from grocery bags to cereal box bags.

I haven’t seen one of these wreaths in years. When I was in high school, many more moons ago than I want to think about, I made these from dry cleaner bags. Love your recycling ideas. I like the old Appalachian saying: Make It, Make Do, or Do Without! Personally, I prefer the make it option.
