A very few of you may remember, a while back, me being filmed for a certain HGTV show? Only 10 months later and it is to finally air. I have known for a couple of months when the air date would be, but have had a hard time actually telling anyone. I get a little queasy when I think about it, to tell you the truth. The thought of my mug on TV is a little much for me to handle, which would explain the goofy pictures of myself a couple of posts ago – an attempt to get used to seeing my silly self on screen.
I finally decided that it’s a once in a life time deal and why not share the news(gulp). I probably won’t be having any kind of future in television so this is my very small claim to 5 minutes of crafty fame.
So glad you told us! I will do whatever I need to (wrestle the kids to the ground, duct tape them to the dining room chairs, play hide and seek and not seek for a half hour if need be), and watch this Friday. Can’t wait! So cool!
Neat! I am glad you told us also. I am a HGTV fan and will be tuned in. It will be on when I am at work though, guess I’ll have to tape it. I had my five minutes of fame whan article about me was printed in Prevention Magazine. It’s been along time since someone I didn’t know asked me about it at the grocery store. Congrats to you!

Hi…I JUST turned off the TV and went straight to HGTV.com to see about instructions for the painted wallet…very cool and I’ll bet it was pretty exciting to see yourself onscreen! I’m glad I got the chance to “discover” a new-to-me blog!

OMG, I am beaming with pride!!!!! I am up here in NH and my hubby just called to say our DVR has the episode. So I haven’t actually seen it, but I checked out the website, and can get a glimpse of the tutorials. I CAN’T WAIT TO GET HOME AND WATCH!!!!!!!! Are you sighing a bit of relief that it is over? You look so good on the site!!!! Well I have to go, I will be in touch, but I hope you are so proud of yourself. I am jealous of my hubby right now who is sitting watching it! But I think he is jealous of my wonderful friendship, so there.

my daugher and i are working on the clock right now, we loved how easy you made it to follow your instructions, one question though… where do you order your clock movements from, we live out in the hicks and our only craft store didn’t have ones whose shaft was long enough.
