Fabric Charm Swap

Evidence that my craft room is becoming more organized is the fact that I found my fabric charms from a swap I did right before the move. It was like getting them for the first time all over again. I gasped, then oooh’d and aaahh’d and immediately went into picture mode which involved finding a new photo spot where the natural light is just right.

In the chaos of packing and trying to complete this swap, I did manage to remember to take a pictue of my charms before I sent them off. Here they are, neck tie pieces with embroidery, machine sewing and little butterfly beads:

And these are the beauties I received from the swap, which was hosted by the very lovely Dawn at More art less housework.

You can click on the picture to see who they are all made by. Aren’t they all just lovely. The idea was to make a charm bracelet, but I can see hanging these beauties on a necklace chain all by themsleves.

I have more mail goodies to share as soon as I find them.

Wow!!! I love the idea of fabric charms!! They all look soooo pretty! I think I’d be tempted to wear them as pendants so they’d get more attention. I love them!
