That book looks great - I think I'll go check it out for my Friday playgroup storytime. Thanks for the link!

That sweater is very pretty! I have never thought about taking apart a thrifted sweater to use the yarn for something else, but that sounds like a cool idea if it works.

I don't like candy corn either, but that recipe actually looks interesting. (Although I don't really think I would eat it if I made it:)

Hey Regina, that's the same sweater I'm going to make! Looking for the right yarn in my stash, it will be the first thing I make for myself, I think. Anyway, there is a great tutorial for how to take apart a sweater (look for an XL Gap brand, they have great easy seams) at http://www.neauveau.com/recycledyarn.html . The pictures used to be bigger, but maybe you can figure out a way to view them larger? And there's a lot of information at http://www.az.com/%7Eandrade/knit/thrifty.html . It's a lot of fun, ripping up old sweaters. Kind of addicting... you've been warned.

Oh, and have you heard the song "I Don't Like Candy Corn?" I think you can see it here http://www.noggin.com/shows/halloween.php . I'm always humming it under my breath.

Okay. I'll stop with the links now.
