I’m gonna to go ahead and reveal my patchwork swap makings. I just can’t wait any longer!!! I sent this out on Thursday to Laurie, so the package should be arriving today or tomorrow (according to the postal service worker). I had such a wonderful time getting everything together and making it, that I almost didn’t want to give it up. I have to say I’m a bit pleased with myself. Is that bad? I’ve never been much into patch-working, until lately, and I’m finding I really enjoy it!

Fabric basket, fabric scraps, scrappy tags and a scrappy notecard

While making this, I didn’t realize how handy and useful all those little scrappy bits can be. I also didn’t realize how much I have of the stuff!! I’m definitely planning on making more patchwork/scrappy projects in the future.

A big THANKS! to Linda, for coming up with this great idea and organizing it all!

Tomorrow: More Halloween treats

1-How did you make that awesomely cute basket??!!
