WW Bread

I have been waiting for the weather to cool down to start baking, but I can’t wait any more.  Heat or no heat, the oven is on.  I couldn’t resist after going through the archives of Everyday Dish, a vegan site, specializing in food tv and info.

I have been eying this whole wheat bread recipe for a while and after loading my pantry with baking goods, I had to try out this bread.

There is the recipe and the video, watch the video first.  The recipe was easy, just time consuming, but totally worth it.  My loaf turned out delicious and soft and so so good.   I used white whole wheat flour which is why it is so light in color. The recipe says you need a big honkin mixing machine, but you don’t.  Just some old fashion muscle work.  I’m trying the Spicy Italian Vegetarian Sausage next.

Regina, I didn’t check out the recipe, but did you make this bread with or without a bread machine? I love, love, love homemade bread. Too bad you’re in Arizona! Otherwise I’d make an excuse to stop over.

YUM!! Looks so good.. We just made our first applesauce today, and I think I messed it up.. still too firm.. but works for me and I will have to start on the baby stuff over again tomorrow…the bread sounds great..
don’t forget to add the fennel to the sausage, for some reason, that’s the one flavor that stands out the most for me
