Can you tell?
I forgot to mention the buttons that I also found while thrifting last weekend. I know I have a pretty good collection already, but I can’t ever resist! A jar of them for $4. After washing them up, I found some real gems in the pile.
Now that jar on the end is almost full!
I really really really need to sort my buttons. You have inspired me! And sheepishly, may I admit, it NEVER occurred to me to wash them. How crazy is that?
Love the craft room.
What a fabulous collection of buttons! Lots of possibilities… And I love your craft room – wish I had one! 🙂
Your button collection makes me drool. I love it. Just organized all my buttons too. I put in my colors & styles. I think I went a little overboard. 🙂 I love the jars. They are just too cute.
How do you wash your buttons? I have never done that? Nor have I sorted mine.
I have to say that I love buttons, too, but I haven`t had any around here for a long time, thanks to kids who lose them. 😛 I used to sift and sort through my mom`s HUGE button collection for hours.
I`ve got an award for you over on my blog. 😉
Me too! Love those light green, glass looking ones.
a.
Oh, I do too! Lots of buttons around here, stored in tins and jars, and bags and trays!
I noticed you stop by and left a comment
on the Herb Game. I am waiting for a call
from them to find out shipping to Sweden.
I love buttons also! You ended up with a gold mine.
I found a site that puts up links to tutorials. It’s at the top of my blog at the moment if you would like to check it out. Maybe you know about it. It’s called One Pretty Thing.
GOD Bless You and Yours!!!
I know where I can send some buttons I have been hoarding!
just checking in….hope all is well. I just don’t spend enough time enjoying all my bloggy friends anymore. But you have been on my mind!
I used a lot of my button collection this summer when crafting with my neighbors…we made tons of button necklaces and bracelets! They loved it and I loved finally putting my collection up on something!
Nice collection…i recently bought some of that jam just so I can keep the jars afterwards…haha! how sad am I? but the jams really yummy too!
Ah. That is a nice collection.
Oh, tugging at the heart strings with the photos of the buttons, especially the last one in the jars! My mom used the same kind of jars to store her buttons! And I wish I knew where to find them, I haven’t seen the red plaid lids in forever!
Love this site….I have collected buttons since 1960……Never discard garments before removing BUTTONS.
