Welcome October

I’m a big fan of October.  Weather is just starting to get cooler, flowers are blooming, pants/jeans are making their first appearance and Halloween is right around the corner. Ah, Halloween. One of my most favorite holidays, which mean I have to plan a goulish dinner, make costumes and decorate the house.  Always a really fun time for my family.  Here are some things I’ve done in the past.

Arts,  crafts, food:

1. Frankenstein’s monster heads, 2. Trick-or-treat1, 3. Bony Skull Vase, 4. Ink, paper, wood Pendants, 5. welcome spider, 6. Monster bags for trick-or-treating, 7. Mystical Monster Jars, 8. Halloween Dinner, 9. Ghoulish Dinner, 10. Hoot Hoot Owl, 11. Halloween Center Piece, 12. Creepy cupcakes

Costumes from the last three years:

1.  Baby Elvis  2. Cowboy  3. Magician  4.  Baby Bat  5. Superman  6. Jedi

Looks like I’ve got a lot to do this month, but I’m looking forward to it.  Thankfully I have a few things that didn’t make the time-cut last year.  Check out this door wreath and fabric too, it’s pretty darn cool.

I just love that Jedi costume and I have a 5 year old that is dying to be a Jedi. If it’s not too much trouble could you give me some more details on how you made it. It doesn’t look that complicated but I think my son would love it! Thanks!
