Gifts Handmade

I didn’t make many holiday gifts this year.  More food than anything else.  I did make a couple of things that I thought I’d share.  Forgot to take pictures of most of it before I gave it away.

I made this black little kitty for our friend’s little gal.  We have a black kitty and they have a black kitty, so of course, a black kitty doll was in order.  I used Wee Wonderfuls Olive & Archie pattern to make these (which I swear I did not copy this idea from Meg– which is funny to think how similar many of our ideas sometimes are).  The pattern is great, easy to follow and tweek into a cat.  My little friend loved her new kitty and was walking around holding it by the ear. Too cute.

I also made these fizzy bath bombs for my friends and for the boys too (who doesn’t love a fizzy bath?). Funny story about these:  My friend’s boyfriend ate one thinking it was some kind of candy!  He spit it out immediately but had a fizzy mouth for a while. HA!

I made pajamas and up-cycled notebooks for the boys, along with purchasing our yearly load of books, family games and puzzles.  Nothing crazy.  Small and nice gift giving.

HI! I love your kitty! I’m working on an Olive and Archie for my two little boys. Can you help me? I cannot figure out how to sew the legs and bottom on!

Love your kitty. Of course my real one is black so I favor that color. Gotta put his pic on my blog.

Your kitty is so cute. Great gifts. It’s so fun to make things, rather than buying them. Great job!
