5.5 x 5.5 wood block – mixed media
I painted this with my 4 year old niece in mind. She loves to sparkle. I added a bit of gold leaf on the crown and a teeny bit of glitter on the wings. The colors of this photo are a bit off from the original. I just couldn’t get a good shot with all the gray clouds out today. New picture up.
I am nursing myself, trying not to go into full-blown cold mode. I’m feeling better now that I’ve done a bit of painting. Always makes me feel better.

She reminds me of my youngest granddaughter! Red hair, brown eyes and loves to sparkle. Yep, that’s my girl too. 😉 I think it’s wonderful. Feel better soon.
