I have another suggested read, depending on the ages of the audience...I read the children's version of Miracle on 34th Street, illustrated by Tomie DePaola. I love the original movie and the book was great. Thank you for the other books suggestions. I like to put the holiday reading out on the table.

My sister gave me "A Christmas Treasury of Yuletide Stories & Poems" a couple of years ago. I have made a pact with myself to read it all the way through this December. The first story in it is Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. Many many more classics are contained in this book, so it's really fun to read.
When my kids were little, one of our very favorites was Jan Brett's The Christmas Trolls. The story and illustrations are wonderful.

I see you already have a Jan Brett on the list, but she has many other wonderful holiday titles. And her illustrations will keep you just as interested in the reading as the kids!
