finished pieces

“To be an artist is to believe in life” ~Henry Moore

Here are my completed pieces from Misty Mawn’s artfest class

“I paint my reality. The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to and I paint whatever passes through my head.” Frida Kahlo

“Relax your body and mind and let your spirit soar”~ Remez Sasson

You can see the original collages here and the partially finished pieces here.

I worked on these all week and thoroughly enjoyed the process. I love adding layer after layer after layer of paper and paint. Then a bit of artist crayons, pencil, words, more paint.  I enjoyed every step of the way.

“The best way of life is to be, simply be.” (yogi tea)

I still have several more that I’m working on. But first, I HAVE to do a bit of spring cleaning in my craft room.  I’m feeling the need to be more focused and organized with all my massive amounts of stuff.  There is definitely things that I haven’t touched in years.  Time to let it go!
