summer & the sea

Happy Summer Solstice

“In the Sea”

“For what ever we lose, it is always our self we find in the sea.”~e.e.cummings

This painting was inspired by the Solstice Earth Spin.  I painted this using the brightness of the long day that the summer solstice brings. Inspired by the sun, water, warmth, yellows and blues. Imagining an ocean that is pure clean and healthy.

  1. Lovely piece. Reminds me of something that should be hung in a Yoga room.

I just popped over from flying lessons, I had opened several tabs others from class that are local, and I was so excited when I got to yours! And then to find out that you aren’t local after all 🙁 I felt some kinship with your avatar, that’s how I made my way here. Love your artwork, and your sewing skills…how I wish mine were that good! And the food…I am officially hungry. So happy to have found you here.
