I love how homey it is! You could hang it up on a hook and just use it for decoration.
What a wonderful idea! I love the fabric you chose for your basket. Very pretty! I think it would also be nice to use a wax cloth on the inside so that if you were picking flowers that were wet or had pollen on them, that the cloth could be easily wiped clean.
