I’ve been working on my ornaments all day, quietly painting by my sunniest window, sipping on tea and thinking positive don’t get sick thoughts. Feel like I’m on the verge of something. I really hate that feeling.
These ornaments were hand cut, sanded, primed and individually painted. I had originally thought I’d make them really simple, but there is nothing really simple about them. I guess I just don’t do simple. They also have a layer of encaustic wax on them with gold leafing around the edges.
I have 5 more birds to add wire to and then they will all be going in my shop on Monday. Hopefully more little ornaments (gnomes, mushrooms, houses) will be in there too.
Side note:
I have an interview over on Sew Liberated, along with a little giveaway & special offer. Please go check it out.
Oh, really hope you stay well! Thinking good, non-sick, healthy thoughts for you!
We’re feeling a little run down ourselves around here. I hope you feel better soon!
And those ornaments are beyond cute.
The ornaments are AWESOME!
Beautiful ornaments… they would look perfect on my tree 🙂
Hope you can overcome the yucky-ness that you’re feeling.
I love the “sitting by your sunniest window sipping tea” Magical!! Those are some of my favorite life moments! :o) Love the little ornaments! so pretty! I too succumbed to the nasty cold bug this weekend! Id say its something in the air…but my air is REALLY far away from yours, and ours is full of snow! :o) Hope you feel better soon!
I love these Regina, so beautiful. You continue to be a source of inspiration to me and so many people. Thank you .
PEACE
