outtakes and snowflakes

First, I have to share these fun and easy cinnamon dough snowflake ornaments.  The recipe is from Martha Stewart, but I had to add a couple of tablespoons of water because the dough was incredibly dry.  I decided snowflakes were much easier than birds (used a cookie cutter) and they are still pretty and smell amazing.  If you make these, give yourself a whole day of drying time, before decorating. I used my favorite white glue and added snowy glitter to make them sparkle. They would make great car air fresheners because they smell so good.

I finally got our holiday photo done. I can’t say that there wasn’t some serious growling on my part. After what seemed like a hundred snaps, I finally got the perfect picture, which I’m not sharing here so that my family will see something ‘new’ in there mail.  This is just a sneak peek. The final picture doesn’t have all the crazy light action. That was just for fun.
