heavy heart

I am deeply saddened, horrified and sickened about the events that occurred in my city today. My heart and thoughts go to those who have been injured and to those who have lost loved ones.   There is no reason for these senseless acts of violence. None at all.

Today I hold my loved ones a little closer.

Sad beyond words. I agree with our sheriff. It is almost embarassing to live in Tucson, the place where my parent, my children, my grandchildren and I all were born.

I was saddened by the chaos this young man caused. It’s very confusing to me …
glad that you and your family are safe.

Heavy heart indeed. I can’t stop thinking about that little girl. So wrong.

  5. Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry that this happened “on your doorstep”- not the kind of start to the New Year that you want… We’ll add this to our prayers and thoughts X

I am thankful that you are all okay and wish I could give you, Ry and the boys REALLY extra big hugs right now! My heart aches for all of the families that were harmed by this senseless act of violence.

Tragic, indeed. It was rather nice to put my feet up last night and knit while watching Masterpiece Theatre. I just wanted to stop thinking about the shootings. (The 9-yr-old just makes my heart ache.)

I’m from Texas, so I know the embarrassing feeling. This state seems to get more and more nuts. But know that as an outsider, I don’t even think AZ or Tucson, I’m just focusing on the act, if that’s any conciliation.

*hugs* I didn’t know you lived in Tucson. I just moved to Flagstaff from Phx, and while I’ve never lived in Tucson, I feel shaken. Unthinkable. Watching the memorial this evening helped me. Hang in there.
