Pontatoc Ridge

I just love this picture!

We went for a hike on Pontatoc Ridge yesterday. It was the first time that the little guy didn’t complain and ask to go back 20 minutes into the hike. The hike wasn’t easy going up either and we hike for a good hour and a half! Must be because he is 7 now.

We’ve been waiting for him to be ready for this for a l-o-n-g time. Finally, we can do a decent hike and not have to carry anyone. We have to get these guys prepped for a future Grand Canyon trip.  Maybe they will be ready in 2-3 years.

There were lots of beautiful flowers starting to bloom and bees everywhere busily collecting drops of sunshine magic. That’s what I call it anyway.

We’re coming to Chandler in April, and I really hope we get to enjoy scenery like this. I’ve never been there before (my husband’s twin brother lives there with his wife and children, and I can’t believe we’ve waited so long to visit their home!), so I’m not sure what to expect.
