Can you see them? Way high up in our oak tree.

Bees!

A whole swarm of them.

We are hoping that they have moved on by tomorrow or we will be finding a beekeeper (hopefully) to helps us out.

They are amazing, beautiful little creatures and they are totally freaking me out!!

YIKES! That would scare the bejeezus out of me too! Hoping they are just enjoying a little Rest Stop at your tree and will be on their way shortly to their new hive. Did you see the documentary “Queen of the Sun”, about colony collapse disorder – so good.

  2. Okay, that IS cool, and I would probably be out checking them out with my boys… except I would be totally freaked out and trying hard to play it cool. I am really impressed you took photos!

  3. Yep whilst i’m sure you are the last thing they have on their mind that would worry me to, perhaps more so for my son. Mind you if it was a wasp nest then i would have already called someone

How lovely see these wonderful creatures-well done you for being so brave!x There is lots of Celtic folklore about bee’s visiting your home-messages about living together in harmony and it is advised you drink mead or other honeyed drink in their honour. NB for your boys -Did they know dumbledore is an old country name for the bee? Thought they might like that.xx
