So, Sunny Carvalho is one of my most favorite people in the world. I met her at my first artfest and she is so kind and generous, I couldn’t help but lover her to pieces from the first instant I met her. I have collected quite a large set of handmade, original Sunny pieces which makes me so happy. (Don’t you just love her skirt? She made that too!)
She taught needle felted cuffs and it really was an awesome class. Above is her felted cuffs which were stunning and very inspiring.
She is a wonderful and patient teacher. I had never worked with needle felting before and it was very meditative and fun.
These are my cuffs that I made in class. I couldn’t resist buying her bird and skull ceramic buttons for my cuffs. They just add the perfect touch. I have already purchased some wool roving in hopes of making a needle felted camera strap. Wouldn’t that be fun!

I tried needle felting just before Christmas and loved it. Never thought of it for something flat like a cuff or strap. Sounds like a fantastic workshop! Happy felting!!

Ah, Regina…you are definitely one of my favorite people, as well! You are so sweet, talented and energetic! It was a great class, a great Artfest over all. I am so happy I got to hang out with you again and I so hope something will open up to get us all together again at some point. Keep up the gorgeous work…I can’t wait to see what you do next!!!
