gifts from Shelly

“happiness is time spent with a friend

A long while back I made this piece of art and my dear friend Shelly said she wanted to buy it.  I said maybe we could trade. Then we touched on the subject a few more times until she started painting some awesome coffee/teacups in all of my favorite colors. It was finally settled that we would finally trade art.

I was so surprised when a wonderful package arrived with an art piece so perfectly suited for me and my home.  Two teacups, in all my favorite colors beautifully framed with rulers and the words “me” & “you”. I almost fell over. It was immediately hung on my orange kitchen wall. How perfect is that?!?! She sent more too!

She sent an awesome quote on canvas (she has amazing hand writing skills), several of her wonderful art prints and a few of her really cute coloring books. I am so lucky to have met up with Shelly (three times now!) and to have her as my friend. Thank you Shelly. :)
