“The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever passes through my head without any other consideration” ~ Frida Kahlo
This was painted on a flat clay board by first painting the entire background black. Then, I sketched out my image and filled it in with paint and water soluble crayons.
I had planned on using this as a cover for a new journal I am making, but now I’m not sure. I will just have to sleep on it.
gorgeous regina! i love EVERYTHING about it! it would be lovely as a journal cover. can’t wait to see what you end up doing with it. 🙂
