3 skirts

I’ve been wanting some skirts like this one and this one, but decided instead to just make them myself. I used some jersey knit that I already had, but I’d love to make a gray and navy blue one too.  I also need to find some striped fabric so I can try to make this one too.

Purple skirt:  I used the instructions from this tutorial.

Black skirt: I used the waist band instructions from the purple skirt and used the skirt pattern from Alabama Stitch Book for the panels (4 panels total), then added the faux pleats to make it more flared.

Brown skirt: Again, I used the same waist band as the other two. This skirt has 5 panels instead of 4. Somehow my math for the panels worked out (don’t ask me how).

I love how simple and easy they are to wear with a tank or t-shirt.
