Fleur – the flower girl

I decided to take the last 10 days off of internet stuff to focus on our home cleaning/ de-cluttering project. It has been crazy around here and tomorrow will be the last and final day of this cleaning business.  Once all the clutter is removed tomorrow, via goodwill/yard sale,  it will feel like a brand new place! That’s what I keep promising my husband, anyway.

I did get some free time today and last night to finish up poor Fleur.  She has been staring at me all week, begging for completion. Well, she is done, at last!

Natural Awakenings Magazine

I also got a very nice little write up in this month’s local magazine, Natural Awakenings.  You can see the full write up HERE.

She is beautiful! Puts me in mind of Fleur Pillager, a character in many of Louise Erdrich’s books. Although named for a flower she is an amazingly strong and resilient woman. 🙂
