Getting Carried Away

wind.jpg

That’s me… I tend to get carried away with a lot of things, like for instance…..Halloween. Well, it’s over. No more posts on Halloween- I promise. I’m really mad I tell you!

This little illustration was inspired by last week’s Illustration Friday topic-wind. I didn’t have time to post it before Friday, so here it is now. I’m also using it as my new banner (yes, another one).

Also, a little bit of good news. I will no longer be working night shift (7pm-7am). I am officially a day-shift person now. So excited to get back to a normal sleeping schedule. No more sleeping during the day with the windows covered with sheets, my eyes covered with a bandana and thundering rainfall noise!

Hi, this is my first time commenting here. Have you thought about using a random image generator? I recently added one to my blog, for my banner, and now each time the page gets refreshed it displays a different banner. Your illustrations are too cute to just have one banner option. 🙂

    Cheers.

Whoo hoo! Day shift! That’s fantastic. I’m sure it seemed like forever but you suffered through it and now you can go back to your regularly scheduled sleep habits.

Okay, now on to Christmas preparations. So many gifts, so little time.

Oh I am happy for you! Night shift has it’s charms, but it is better in the long run to be on days isn’t it.

    Love your new banner.

Cool. Love the umbrella, looks great in your header.

(p.s. am very very glad for you that your shift has changed. How on earth did you cope?)

  8. I was wondering where to post a comment about how I love your banner, and then, well, I found it. What a delightful illustration — and how I wish I could have an umbrella just like that one! If only I could make umbrellas…
