The other day, a couple of friends and I went to the Whole Bead Show which is part of the greatest gem, mineral, bead, fossil and jewelry show on earth! No kidding either. It’s insane. Millions of said items make there way into the Tucson area for about a two week period, along with thousands and thousands of people to boot.
And did I mention how insane it was? There was every kind of bead you could think of. I was so overwhelmed with the gobs of beads surrounding me that I came out of the whole affair with only a teeny tiny bag of sterling silver findings and for a very good price, I might add. I just could’t commit myself to entire strands of beads that would probably hang out in my mess of crafts anyway.
I might be wrong though because I have to admit that I may have been bitten by the beading bug. Ever since I went, I’ve been thinking about nothing but beads, beads, beads!! I may even venture back out and check out one more bead show before it’s over.
With beads on my mind. I decided to incorporate some into my latest little project: Amy’s 2nd Annual Valentine ATC Swap.
They were sent away, along with some little fabric flower brooches.
I love these swaps and am super excited to see what kind of pretties I get!
So cute! I hope I get one:):) Amy’s swaps are awesome.
What beautiful ATC’s and the flower brooches are sweet too. I love the colours – pretty!
Omg. I’m craving a set of pinking shears now exclusively for this purpose…
Yummy, the ATCs and brooches remind me of sorbet! I looove sorbet.
Or is it sherbet?
