Here is another batch of stuff I wanted to share. It means so much to me to receive handmade items like these in the mail. Not because I like to collect things, but because they come from people, friends, that I’ve “met”, connected with through this amazing community of artsy, crafty types. Thinking about that person at their desk, sewing machine or in their favorite chair carefully and lovingly crafting their piece makes the gift even more special.
1. I won this wonderful little pin cushion from Raesha during her birthday, bloggiversary month. I didn’t even realize that my comment had entered me in the contest. Raesha is truly one the most generous people out in blogland. She is always giving something away or helping others out with projects.
2. Flossy-p, an amazing artist made this wonderful little ATC called “Olive”. I’ve always admired Flossy’s wonderful art work and I’m so happy to have a piece of my own.
3. A very cool bracelet kit from Dawn. I love it because I picked the words I liked best (home, love, dream, create) and added tiny little pictures of my guys to it. It is the perfect thing to cheer me up when I’m at work for 12 hours.
4-5. Wonderful crocheted items from Michelle at Greetingarts. There is a very pretty washcloth, pirate guys with boat(for my guys), and the most amazing grocery bag. It all folds up and tucks away into it’s own pocket. Is that totally cool or what!!!
Speaking of Michelle and swaps, she is having a great embroidered button swap. Check out all the details HERE.
Anyway, thank yous and hugs to everyone who sent me one of these very cherished gifts.
Oh my gosh, I just sat and read and clicked links from here for the past 40 minutes. SO much to catch up on. Your new house looks as though it’s really coming together, and beautifully too. I just love those concrete floors!
And your embroidered charms are so cool too.
And Happy Birthday Super E!
And thanks for all the links to my stuff too 😀
