Like I said in my last post, my two little guys are like two totally different creatures. Super-E loves constant interaction (boy can he talk!). So you can imagine how great it is to give him something that will keep him quietly busy and keep his mind buzzing with ideas. He loves drawing (oh! how I love this) and he loves making stories, so naturally he needed a creative notebook.
I had meant to embroider his name on the front, but time quickly escaped from me.
Inside: a space for scrap paper, pencils and a Star Wars notebook. The recycled paper notebook had a plain cover that I covered with this printout.
The other side has a pocket for handmade paper books and more scrap paper.
He just couldn’t be more pleased with his notebook. He carries it around wherever he goes, just in case he has a really great idea he needs to right down.
What a great gift! I especially love that there are places to put paper scraps and little notebooks!
These are awesome! So you covered a three ring binder? I’ve made covers for comp notebooks, but never a binder. What a great idea – good thing I have 10 binders sitting in the garage just waiting to be covered:)
Love it… I always enjoy checking in to see what creative things you are up to with your handsome men!
This is the best idea! My sons all just love to draw, all very different things. They would all benefit from these! Thanks for the brilliant inspiration!
You are a clever gift giver/creator! Great idea.
Truly beautiful and thoroughly thought gift for your son. It gives a special value for the drawings to have a binder around them. I’ve found that kids give special value for things they can store nicely.
Such great gifts for your boys! Love the sock puppets & the notebook! 🙂
I love that he loves it!!! Why wouldn’t he, but even my kids sometimes don’t love what I love or think they will love……I really can’t believe how much you have made and how wonderful everything is…..”better than bought”
oh my Little Jedi would have gone nuts over that binder!!! How creative!
Thanks for the printout!
with friendship,
Lisa
