We had one of those weekends where everything was easy, relaxing and fun. Nothing we *had* to do. No TV, computer, or errands–just us outside enjoying eachother and the nice weather.
We went for a bike ride to the park and played.
We put up a HUGE tent that Grandpa Bob gave us for a future camping trip. It quickly became the toy tent.
We spent the whole day reading outside, playing with rocks and eating yummy snacks.
We danced in the dark and caught bugs in jars (then quickly set them free). We even slept in the tent, which I have to admit was NOT the highlight of my weekend. Camping in your backyard, in the middle of a big city is just too noisy!
And on Sunday we went on a gorgeous hike. The kids even announced this weekend the best weekend EVER! We really should do this more often.

It was a beautiful weekend, wasn’t it? I was on call but no babies, so got to stay home.
