take a chance on me

Well, now I have ABBA songs in the brain, not because Mamma Mia was good or anything.  I was actually very disappointed.  I think it was the poor singing, especially on Pierce Brosnan’s part.  Sorry, but it was almost unbearable.  Now, if you want to see a good tribute to ABBA music, Muriel’s Wedding is the tops!

To ease the pain of bad movie after taste, I watched Chocolat last night.  Oh Johnny, how I love thee….. And the chocolate, mmmmmmmm, it sent me into major choco-crazy cravings! A couple of strawberries dipped in melted dark chocolate did the trick.

Now, the title above is referring to my artistic selling attempts.  Bad timing, I know with the economy and all, so I’m trying really hard not to take it personally.  But you know, I’m of the sensitive nature.  Putting my art out there is deeply personal.   I’m also worried about getting lost in the amazing massiveness that is Etsy.  So please could you help me get the word out about my art?  I’ll give you another chance to win a print.  All you have to do is blog about it, twitter it or put it on your facebook.  Comment again on this post, and tell me what you did.  You can even use the image above if you’d like.  You can have up to three more chances to win (make separate comments please). Any other ideas or tips on getting the word out are greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for the kind words about my art so far.  They do make my heart happy.

Happy Friday!!

Can you get on How To Tuesday’s on Etsy
or some tutorial videos on etsy?

Click Flassie and it should take you
to the How To Tuesday on Etsy.

I love Choclat too! I also have watched
You’ve Got Mail like 4 nights in a row
now. I did watch a Alfred Hitcock movie
from the Library that I didn’t like but
it was worth watching just to see this
one outfit. There were two others I watched.
One I liked, called I know where I am going.
and The Wooden Clog with subtitles. This is most I’ve watched movies in a long time in
    the past week.

God Bless You and Your and Your
    Creative Life and Etsy Shop!!!

You can probably guess that my friends played me that movie before my wedding, haha. I have the same song on my blog now, in the original version.
Good luck with selling your prints!

    PS. What does pinging mean?

I wasn’t able to put the photo
on my blog. I for some reason
    can not do it sometimes.

When Allen Designs has a giveaway
I can not get the photo on my blog
till she puts it up above her new
    blog entry. Even though Grosgrain
has her button photos up on top of
her blog giveaways I can not seem to
get her photos up on my blog either.
I do not know why either.

Have you ever thought about writing
a children’s book? Your art has a lot
    of stories to tell.

God Bless You and Yours and Your Etsy Shop!!!

    Hi Regina~ ~ ~
I agree with you about Mama Mia the singing was almost unbarable. I laughed through the whole movie. Who would you have cast instead of Pierce? An actor who can sing would be great but who?~ ~Ahrisha~ ~

Regina, I will mention your wonderful blog and etsy shop on Green Mamma this week.

By the way, I did post about you earlier this week because you won the Clean Body giveaway, 🙂 I’ll need your mailing address now . . .

Regina – I’m going to post your artwork on my blog, I hope it brings some traffic your way. Have you thought about doing some advertising? (don’t know if you already are) you can place some ads really cheaply someplace like https://www.projectwonderful.com
I just started doing it myself and it’s brought a couple sales my way 🙂
