Here is my art for today. I worked on it all day, a bit inspired by my bird yesterday, which I still have plans of colorizing. If you are new to my blog, then I have to tell you how much I LOVE birds. I really do.
My colors are bright, as my style seems to be. I always “think” that I want to mellow out my color palette, but I am simply drawn to brightness. Maybe its the constant brightness of the Arizona sun, I don’t know. But as much as I try otherwise, this is how it must be for now.

Beautiful. I love the depth of the wood block, and how the painting wraps right around the edge.

I love this, the colour, the pattern and the way the picture wraps around the board.
I am hoping to start an evening course in painting at the local college in January. It is the inspiration of blogs, especially yours.
I know that I am not very creative, but I think that when I learn the technical side I will be able to put my ideas on paper.
I am especially interested in putting different textures and materials on the page as it were.
Time will tell!

Your style is awesome, it’s you! And we all enjoy it! Thanks so much for sharing. =) BTW I saw a printed canvas in Pier 1 of a woman’s head that looked sooo much like your work. I had to go over and look at the signature to see if it was you!… Have you ever considered tring to license your art! Do you follow @ArtistTaraReed on twitter? She shares lots of info about art licensing… Just a thought. I could totally see your work in stores! =)
