still life with pomegranate

I’m having one of those days where I have so much to do, that I can’t do a single thing. Know what I mean? Instead I’ve spent a load of time taking pictures of my pomegranate. Then I slowly took every little seed out and ate ’em all up. It’s all I could do.

Oh, I did make myself a dirty chai. Ever had one? It’s basically chai tea with milk (almond milk in mine) and a shot of espresso or a tsp of instant espresso powder. It is super tasty. Tastes kind of like a pumpkin spice latte.

I’m still very tired, even after the chai. Spent the night taking care of one sneezy little fellow. Must have been something in the air. It’s finally cool enough to leave the windows open, but if little sneeze inducing things are making their way in, then I may have to shut them.

Hope I get a little more sleep and am a little more productive tomorrow.

  1. I feel you. I have days like that pretty often. Love the photos – hungry for a pomegranate. 🙂

I know those days all too well. Lack of concentration is a big one for me. Sometimes, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the daily routine, especially when there’s so much to do. I find I’m having to use my pocket calendar more and more since I’m forgetting…

If it’s any consilation, I love the still life of the cut pomegranate. So the day was not a bust… you brought joy to someone else’s life. Isn’t that the purpose of art?
