weekend

We had a beautiful weekend in northern AZ visiting family and going to a bike race.  The kids and I got to spend some time with my mom, my grandma, my sister and her kids. The hubby and I even went out for dinner with our friends and no kids!  We don’t get to do that often and it was so nice to hang out, laugh, talk and enjoy an appletini (or two) which are dangerously delicious, btw! We’ve GOT to do that more often.

There is a small mountain-village somewhere between Prescott and the Canyon, where basically everyone living there are artists. There is just houses along the road, and lots of them have galleries and art-shops. Sorry, can´t remember the name, just drove through there a decade ago… Enjoy your time!

oh how I long for leaves on the trees and green grass! Spring is REALLY taking its time here in Calgary this year…but I saw a hint of green peeking through the grey the other day. Looks like you had an awesome weekend!

Wow!! I haven’t been to Prescott in 32 years! I moved to Los Angeles from Phoenix back then, but I worked as a bartender in Prescott for Rodeo Days. Whiskey Row was waaayy too much fun–is it still there? I worked at Matt’s and shot many games of pool at the Palace. Memories are sweet.
