We had a lovely weekend focusing lots on Dad. We would have liked to go camping or even hiking, but all trails and forest areas have been closed due to the dryness, heat and fires. Please send some rain our way. We desperately need it. And those of you with snow, I’d love to send some heat your way too.
Despite the heat, we managed a soccer game, some swimming and an early morning trip to the farmer’s market to buy some lovely strawberries for a big Father’s Day strawberry pie. It was so yummy.
The boys and I also made a little photo book for daddy too. We painted it and wrote in it. It was fun to snatch up the little guys in my craft room and play with very little resistance, I might add.
We also bought daddy two beautiful bike pint glasses from Vital on Etsy. I’ve been wanting to get these for him for a while.
