I’m getting ready to send off my travel journal to the first person on my list. I bought an Artists’ Travel Book and painted the cover. I think I may do the first page to kind of “break the ice”, but there are only 25 pages. Didn’t even think to look at that–duh!! There should still be enough pages for everyone to do 1-2 pages if they like.
I love the idea of this and can’t wait to send it off, but I have to admit that a teeny part of me is worried it will get lost in the mail or that I will never get it back. I know almost everyone on my list, so I shouldn’t worry too much, right?

wow. so i see that you’re sending it to a list of artist for them to pass around and draw/paint in the journal, and you’ll get a finished one at the end of the journal’s journey, right? what a cool thing to do!

this is a beautiful idea…. we do something similar with letters between my son’s birth family and him. He sends it with notes and games, the return it with additional notes and games etc. its is a beautiful long running relationship between him and them!
