I think that pulling a muscle in my back was my body’s way of making me slow down. And boy, has it ever!
I had so much holiday stuff to do and had do some major crossing-off-the-list to allow myself some sanity. I’m feeling better about it today(especially after a great massage), but was feeling quite tormented by it on Monday.
I had been unable to sit for long periods of time, bend over or twist. So I’ve been lying on the sofa, slightly inclined with a heating pad on my back and yarn and needle in hand. I couldn’t just lie there! I had to do something or I would totally go insane.
For the last three days, I’ve been hopping from one project to another and I am very much enjoying the soothing rhythm of knitting. I did a little Santa stitching too, which I will share tomorrow.

All of these projects have been projects I have been working on over the last few month. It was kind of fun getting reacquainted with them and actually get a couple done.
Pretty things. I’ve got the knitting bug, too. I only meant to teach myself the basics this summer, and then move on to sewing, but I can’t seem to put down the needles!
I LOVE knitting and I especially like the pink scarf you’re making. It’s really pretty.
Once you catch it, it never goes! Love all your different projects! (been enjoying your knitting pins too!) 😀
Oh my goodness, so sorry to hear about your back! FEEL BETTER. *hugs*
I would have done the same, grabbed my knitting needles… get can not sit around. (even when I am in pain, I have to create)
Love all the different stitches, thank you for sharing. :]
