little saguaro cactus

A little saguaro cactus for my good friend Daisy, who turned 70 this month and is retiring too. I was fortunate enough to work with Daisy for the last 6 years and she is such an wonderful and caring person. She hiked in and out of the Grand Canyon in one day,  2 years ago! She is so amazing just like the saguaro:

“Tough outside, soft inside.
Arms always open.
Never take more from the earth than you can use.
Always shelter those in need.
And always stand tall.”
