Day of the Dead traditions: Ofrenda table & decor

Ive been scattering bits of Day of the Dead decor around my house like this papel picado for my windows.

I also made an ofrenda table to honor Sloopy.

Her water bowl & food mat, paper flowers, sugar skull, real flowers, candles, photos and luminarias. The little painting in the middle I bought on Etsy.

This pretty little necklace (hanging on the buddha) was given to me by Kim.  Isn’t it so lovely. I’ve worn it a few times and got lots of compliments.

And this is the table the kids worked on at school. Isn’t it so impressive! I love that they do this every year.

Just gorgeous. I love the cat necklace. What a nice way to remember your kitty.
