I did a little bit of painting in my art journal recently and thought I’d share. I love the idea of painting images for quotes that I love.
The quote in the whale page is often attributed to William Shakespeare, but it is not in any of his sonnets or plays. It actually comes from the Italian opera Falstaff, that was roughly based on material from two of Shakespeare’s plays. The libretto by Arrigo Boito, is where the quote comes from. You can read more about it here. I just found that very interesting.
