First I have to thank EVERYONE for all of the wonderful comments on my arts, crafts and decorating attempts. I so greatly appreciate it. I have really enjoyed participating in Illustration Friday, Inspire Me Thursday and Midweek Munchies. They all have inspired me and pushed me in all different directions in my creating.
Unfortunately I will be unable to participate for a couple of weeks because something big…..HUGE has come up and I am very excited about it. I have been selected to be on the show That’s Clever on HGTV!!!!!!!!!!! If you have never seen the show, it features crafters across the country and shows them making something crafty. I am very excited, nervous and very stressed. As some of you may know, I am also currently trying to sell my house. So between cleaning house, chasing kids, coming and going, I am also trying to prepare for the big shoot. They will be coming in 2 weeks!!!!! So, my dear blogging buddies, I will miss you. When all is said and done I will be back in full force, ready to create some more.
I also apologize for not getting back to anyone who has left questions, comments or asked for recipes. I promise I will get back to you when things get back to normal. Thanks again so much for stopping by my little creative spot in the world!
BTW- for those of you who commented on my red chairs, I have to let you in on a little secret. I pulled those out of my neighbor’s trash!! (I really needed dining chairs and I saw potential). It’s kind of a funny story. The day I rescued them, my husband saw them in the neighbors trash as he was leaving for work and thought, “Oh I hope Regina doesn’t see those!”. Well, when he came home that evening, they were in the garage. He said, “I knew you were going to get those!” and I responded, “If you knew, then why didn’t you just grab them for me!!! It would have saved me a lot of trouble!!” He just shook his head and laughed. Anyway, I just painted them that fabulous red color(interior latex paint) and re-covered the seats with new fabric! Wha-la! New chairs for practically nothing!!

That is so over the top wonderful! I’ve seen the show a few times while sweating away on some machine at the gym, and I’ve alwys been so fascinated by what the people do. When will you be on? I’ll have to TIVO it so I can be sure to watch. Wow!!!
Yes, please, let us know when the episode airs! How exciting! I’ve never seen the show before but now I’m going to try to catch it. I’m currently not as “crafty” as I used to be but I still love watching other people being creative.
