So, I’ve been thinking for a while that it would be really fun to do a notecard swap (Actually, I’ve been dying to host a swap beacause who doesn’t love getting stuff in the mail, RIGHT?!!). I like the idea of notecards because when decorated with art, stamps, collage (or whatever), they can really pack a happy punch in their small size. You can use them to send to friends & family or keep them as little works of art for yourself. Anyone interested? Here’s how it will work:
1) Theme: SUMMER CELEBRATIONS. Summer celebrations include (not limited to) July 4th, Graduation, Weddings, Birthdays, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day (cards might not actually be out by Mom’s day but shouldn’t we celebrate moms all the time anyway?)
2) Decorate 5 notecards (include envelopes) using the above theme idea. You can use any medium you would like (fabric, paper, paint, pencil, photos, images of your art, stamps, etc). They must be your own artwork. Cards (& postage) need to be sent to me by May 8th.
3) Detailed instructions wil be sent to you via email once sign-up has closed.
4) To sign up email me at: regina AT creativekismet DOT com by April 26th 28th. Send your name, address and blog url (if you have one).
Please, please play and get the word out. It’ll be so much fun!! If everything goes well, I would like to do a fall, winter and spring swap as well!
Oh, you KNOW I am so in….and I will spread the word! What a great idea!!!!
And your vernal equinox is beautiful. It really is something with that poem. I love William Blake poems. And the Mid Week munchies pic is delicious. Makes my cupboard filled with Cheetos, chips, and marshmellows look like the trash!
Well if the painted pear is doing it then so am I! Tee Hee!
Sign me up.
