This will be the bouquet my sister tosses into a sea of single gals. I finished this two days ago, but with the inspection yesterday I didn’t have time to take any good photos. It’s made with fake flowers (the kind that feel like real ones) and has button-flower stem accents. I made more of the button-flowers for her real bouquet. I think they are pretty and add a nice sparkle. Plus she can keep them long after her flowers have dried up.
The home inspection did not go well. The inspector broke something HUGE and is claiming that it was already broken- AND it wasn’t!!!!! We are stressed and on the verge of a nervouse break down and I don’t want to talk about it. I’m just going to sit around with a burning brick in my stomach and worry! I highly discourage ever selling a house. IT SUCKS!!!!!
Oh, I am so sorry! Inspectors are hard to deal with. I remeber when we had our house for sale, we had one of those rubber duckies on the bathtub faucet, so the kids would not bump their hairs, it was removable. Well, the inspector saw a speck of mildew on the rubber duckie and wrote it up on the inspection, and was saying something to me about it, acting like the roof was caving in. I looked at jeff and said, “are we seriously standing here discussing a rubber duckie?” Selling a house is a surreal experience.
Lovely bouquet though!
I meant not bump their heads. I am really tired!
oh no….so sorry…
WHAT?! Are you kidding me? That is crazy. I am so sorry hon. HOpefully he will step up and take responsibility. What a prick.
On a nicer note, the bouquet is so lovely! I love the flowers you chose and the buttons kick ass. Seriously I am in love with those. Your sister must be so proud.
I hope everything works out. I am living vicarously through you so I NEED your sale to go through too, lol.
Hugs,
a.
Oh no – sorry to hear its causing so much stress!!! Crap!!!
Lovely bouquet though – u are a natural…
So first the good, then the bad. Lovely bouquet, very original idea, using the buttons. You are a woman of many talents.
I wish I could take the burning brick out of your life.
