Mail makes me happy. Giddy, actually.
One of the greatest discoveries from having a blog is that you can send things out (swaps, trades, gifts) and generous, wonderful bloggers send things back. Amazing things that make you crazy full of happiness.
These are just a few things that have come in the mail recently.
Embroidery Button Swap~ They had a hard time finding their way to me, but they finally made it! They are all precious and I love them all! Thank you, thank you, thank you Michelle!
As you can see, my large bundles of vintage fat quarters. Elizabeth had the undertaking of organizing 2,314 fat quarters!! Phew, now THAT is a lot of work. Not only were these sent out so quickly, but they were packaged beautifully! Thanks a million Elizabeth!! These will patiently wait at my bedside to be turned into two (maybe three) fabulous quilts. I’m so excited to start my first quilt projects!!
This gorgeous bag was made by Kathy of Pink Chalk Studio. Isn’t it amazing?!?!? It’s my most favorite bag EVER! I wear is all the time and find my self trying to coordinate my clothes with it. It’s just that is so beautiful and extremely functional. The fabric and colors are perfectly me and it sits exactly on the right spot of my hip. I am able to easily whip things in and out at a moments notice AND I can carry everything that a mother of two small boys might need. It’s absolutely perfect!! Thanks Kathy!
I know this isn’t a short-n- sweet post, but my eyes are going cross eyed from reading about moms, babies and boobs. I needed a small study break. Plus, who can study with piles of new fabric and buttons all around me! Seriously!!
Cute as a button!
Cannot wait to see what those vintage sheet squares turn into… mmmmmm….
The bag is lovely -and the buttons divine. Almost tempts me into joining a swap – almost…
They are packaged beautifully! I just received mine. Did you get any that I sent in? Cute buttons too.
Lots of swaps!!! Missed out on the button swap-they are all adorable! Got my vintage sheets today—love them! Your bag is to die for!
Oh I can’t wait to see the quilts you make with those vintage sheet squares!
Okay so I have to admit that after seeing that bag, I popped over to Kathy’s site and ordered the pattern for myself 🙂
