A couple of months ago I was asked about whether this piece(above) was for sale. I couldn’t find the original, so I re-did it with a few little changes:
I sold it and was happily inspired today, to create another…
Today is a good friend’s birthday (he even wrote an article on the Day of the Dead), so we will be celebrating with Mexican food and margaritas tonight!
Aww fun.. yesterday was my friends bd and she will have nothing to do with mexican food.. I would love to be out with you guys.. yummmm….
Love this, your work is so much fun to look at.
I love the redo even more than the original! The recipients of my ( and your) gift, LOVED it! But now that I see your new one it would have been even more perfect! Oh, well. They will have to wait until their 1st anniversary next year. They received several day of the dead gifts since they had their wedding celebration on Nov. 1st.
Nice. i like the re-do of the 1st one but the Til Death Do Us Part is fantastic. The colors and line work are great. Very well done.
