Ruby Stamp

My sister’s baby shower was almost 2 weeks ago.  It was so very nice but I forgot to take my camera, so no pictures.  I told her I would make her Thanks You cards and finally got them sent off this morning.

I used the stamp I made for her invitation cards.  They were quick and simple and I think they turned out really cute.  I am surprised at all of the great scrap book paper out there.  I’m not really into scrapbooking, so I had never paid much attention.  I had a lot of fun picking out several different designs.

I don’t scrapbook either but I have tons of those stores near me – and no art supply stores. So I have come to appreciate some of the products for art – like Glimmermist watercolor spray washes and the opaque pens for example. I love the cards you made and it definitely has me thinking about other ways to use the paper!

Wow, I found your blog through Pink Chalk-out of all those links I chose yours. I, too, live in Tucson, am an L&D-mother/baby nurse and am passionate about breastfeeding.
    Glad to meet you!

Regina – you could easily make a version of these to sell on your etsy site! I have no idea how time intensive they are, but they are absolutely adorable!

Those are wonderful. The stamp is great, and I agree about the scrapbooking paper. I didn’t realize there was such selection at first either, but it can almost be as addictive as fabric stashing. 🙂
