I can’t believe I finally made these. The end ones are a bit boring, but embellishments will come later (a lot later- maybe next year) At least they’re up, right. I am planning to eventually add some embroidery and a flower to mine (far left) and snowflakes to daddy’s(far right). For now, they are ready for goodies from Santa. Can you see that bit of Kleas fabric on the far right. I love it with the gray.
I also made this garland out of scraps of green/blue fabric. I tied 6 x1 inch strips along 18 feet of LED lights. I figured if I was going to spend all the time to decorate a string of lights, they better be energy effecient, last a really long time, and stay cool to the touch.
All of our lights are LED this year. We have the multi-colors of the tree. I love those big strawberry shaped bulbs!

I love the stockings, but I have to say, making the garland using a string of lights is brilliant!! I made one last year and now I think I need to make one using a string of lights. Thanks!
I am amazed by all the decorations you have managed to make! Our house feels so sad this time of year, we aren’t decorating it since it is on the market and we’re gone for a week and a half over the holidays… I’m living vicariously through your festive decorations though, absolutely beautiful!
