holiday pillows

The red snowflake pillow is made from a patchwork piece I thrifted a while back.  I just cut it to a square and appliqued a felt snowflake onto it.  I’m in love with the patchwork and all the reds.

The other pillow I made from a lovely piece of fabric that I won from the ever so lovely Kristin.  I had been saving the fabric for something special.  When I glanced at it yesterday it screamed Christmas. I put in a zipper so that I could easily take it off, safely pack it and happily find it next year in my holiday boxes.   I really love that mix of green, red and greens.    You’ll be able to see another snipet of this fabric tomorrow.  I was able to sneak a little piece into a different holiday project.  More tomorrow.

  1. I need to make some Christmas Pillows. I love the red patchwork one. So pretty. Great idea to put the zipper on it.

Help make a family very dear to my heart have a memorable Christmas. It only takes a stamp!
