Just a reminder about Earth Hour. Don’t forget to register and here are some things you can do tonight too.
This is a picture I took this morning of a mommy and baby dove. They have been sitting on our wall all day. I was about 5 feet away when I took this in zoom mode. She is giving me a concerned look, poor thing. Don’t worry momma bird, I won’t hurt you.
Hope you are having a nice weekend. See you on Monday.
I am so happy to see you post about the mourning doves. We have one that we have nicknamed Frank that visits our backyard almost every day now. It makes me smile when I see him, just knowing that he likes our yard makes me feel special. We live in a development which doesn’t attract many birds at all because there aren’t any older trees for them, but Frank is a regular. One of these days I will take my own picture of him and post about it on my blog.
What a great photos of the doves. So lovely.
We did the Earth Hour – it was fun! Love the doves!!!
What a beautiful photo. I like that Earth Hour raises our awareness about our energy consumption.
My daughter brought home the class dove, Misty, during spring break and we fell in love with her! The two doves in your picture are sooo beautiful. Their cooing is so sweet.
